Girl or Boy?

20 week gender reveal!

On Monday Hubby and I finally had our big ultrasound appointment. The appointment went extremely well and we learned that baby is not only extremely healthy but 13 oz and in the 96th percentile for the development stage they are at. All of the organs, spine, and head looked perfect and the little heartbeat was at 148.

The last month leading up to our appointment was quite eventful and seemed to drag on waiting to find out weather we were having a little boy or girl.

Around 18 weeks I finally started to feel definitive movement from little one every morning when I ate and more and more throughout the day the last two weeks. Now I feel baby every few hours and on the 28th they even had tiny little hiccups!

As far as I myself go, the nausea is mostly gone and my biggest symptom right now is back pain. I was diagnosed with scoliosis in middle school and have struggled with mild back pain most of my life. In the last few weeks that pain has tripled and has made walking and sleeping very difficult. I've recently implemented yoga back into my routine and have been making sure to get up every hour and move around and this has helped the pain immensely. It's now trickled down to a small twinge every now and then when I move in certain ways.

I don't seem to be having a whole lot of significant cravings like I was but I have finally started to gain weight ( a little too much if you ask me!). We have been working hard on our registry and all of the big stuff is on there. We are still adding things here and there but it's mostly novelty items and clothes. Our registry is mostly a guideline for the types of things we are looking for and we aren't picky of someone wants to deviate from our list.

Now for the big reveal!  We are having a.....

A few other things I've been asked and would like to add.

Yes, I am planning to breast feed but will be pumping as well so Hubby can feed her.
We have had no complications in the pregnancy so far (knock on wood!)
We do have a name picked out but we will not be revealing it publicly until little girl arrives.
We have a PO Box where gifts can be sent, it can be found in my description.
Our registry can be found on BabyList and we are going for sort of a modern white and grey theme with light pink and gold accents for our nursery. We are trying to use a mix of patterns such as chevron, stripes, and polka dots to mix and match in the room.

Our reveal was met with great enthusiasm with about half of people having guessed correctly. My family tended to lean towards girl while Hubby's tended to guess a boy. Hubby guessed girl and I myself felt very strongly it was a boy until about a month ago. My guess then tended to flip flop back and forth but mostly landed on girl as well.
