December Birchbox 2015 Review
This months theme was:
All Wrapped Up
December's theme was centered around being cozy and "home for the holidays".
Juara Coconut Illipe Hand & Nail Balm - retail $80
This was the surprise hit product of this box for me. The smell is delightful without being overpowering and it feels super moisturizing without feeling greasy. At first I wasn't so sure about this product because it looks, feels, and smells a bit like sunscreen. I was pleasantly surprised upon application how well it rubbed in. The one small downside I will mention is that it says it's a nail balm as well and I didn't really feel like it did much to my nails.
Kate Spade Live Colorfully - retail $95
This perfume has a really nice floral scent with just a hint of citrus. I really enjoyed this scent, however it's staying power isn't the best and isn't really a scent I expected to get in a winter box. It's much more suited for spring.
Coastal Scents StyleEYES Palette - retail $12
This was the product I was most excited to receive this month however once again I wasn't crazy impressed with it. While the pigmentation is nice it takes a lot of product to get a good build up of color and I feel like they chose weird shades of gold and green that don't really seem to compliment each other. I will definitely still be using the gold shade but I don't think the green will see much use.
Coola Classic SPF 30 Cucumber Moisturizer for Face - retail $31
This product was the biggest disappointment for the box. It's thin, light, and the smell is too strong. This may work okay for the winter when your face doesn't see much sun but it isn't sweat or water proof and requires a lot of reapplying. The smell, cucumber, is far too strong for something that goes on your face as well.
Benefit They're Real! Tinted Lash Primer - retail $24
I am always so happy to get a Benefit product in my box. I really liked this as a light mascara but not so much as a primer. It goes on nicely and makes my lashes look fuller and longer and I think it's great for a "no makeup" makeup look, however, trying to apply mascara on top of it began to give me spider lashes. They weren't as bad as I have gotten from other mascaras but it just feels like too much product on my lashes with both.
This box finally gets 5 stars from me. The design is wonderfully festive yet sophisticated and I used and (mostly liked) every product included. It was difficult to choose a favorite this month but if I have to choose I think it would be the Juara Hand and Nail Balm. This box also included a $10 off coupon. Join by January 9th for $5 off your first box!

I enjoyed your December Box review and like most of the product myself! Feel free to check out my December Birchbox review! :)
